A friend recommended we try the sandwich Christine's must be known for: the pork tenderloin. My wife and I shared this for lunch and still had a hearty dinner afterwards. Best I've ever had, and not just because it was the largest, either. This is a spot worth any drive you have to take. Probably a good thing I don't live in the neighborhood because I would become a fixture there otherwise!

Great food for a reasonable price. Id recommended christine’s for their tenderloin sandwich or the double cheeseburgers. Love it abs I’ll come back!

I get to the Mid-west a couple times a year and I always try to find a breaded pork tenderloin. Christine's Firehouse was an awesome choice. The meat was tender, the breading was crispy, the serving was huge and plentiful. On top of that there was live music. A bluesy jazz kind of vibe. If you're in Kansas City take a few minutes go check it out it is well worth the trip.

PORK TENDERLOIN SANDWICH IS THE BEST IN TOWN, MAYBE THE WORLD!!! It is not only HUGE it is great in taste. Try and eat a whole one if you can but don't blame me when you can't walk, stand, well anything besides say "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" then fall asleep.

Great local spot in downtown North Kansas City. If you like pork tenderloin, this is your spot. You can spilt it between 2-3 people. The thing is gigantic. My co-worker said the philly was great.

We went in to grab a quick bite to eat and some drinks. Service was great considering the live band was really loud, but really good at the same time. The portions were huge the food was tasty, the drinks were cold and the waitress was more than attentive! We'll be back again and again, and eventually we'll try everything on the menu!!

You can't go here and NOT have at least one person in your group get the tenderloin. Literally big enough for 3 people. I personally had the Ruben and it was fantastic. Yummy potatoes salad, lots of TVs and good atmosphere.

The pork tenderloin was huge! Enough for 2-3 people to share. Each person would have to order their own fries though. We were impressed with the flavor of the pork....great seasoning!Good service and you can tell it is a local place bc everyone was so friendly.Thank you! We will be back!

We’ve been going to Firehouse Bar for years and it is still our favorite bar in NKC! The tenderloin is huge and delicious and my fiancé loves the tacos. The drinks are cheap and the food is affordable. The new location is super nice and always clean. It is a tad bit small, so I wouldn’t recommend for huge parties. They also play live music most nights, so it can be hard to hear. The owner, Christine, does a great job of running her bar and always makes sure things are taken care of and running smoothly. Very hands on, which is nice to see! If you haven’t been, I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

Christine's Firehouse is a great place to watch the Chief's play. The crowd is small but all too loud. The food is great. The picture of their pork tenderloin sandwich is no exaggeration, it's huge. The chicken tenders are the same way, four tenders each the size of a chicken breast fillet. But mostly, it's just a fun charged group of fans.

One of the best tenderloins in town..BIG but not fake. Reasonably priced. Great waitresses. .25 cents for extra mayo...Seriously????

My mom couldn't understand when I told her that we were going to share a pork tenderloin on Saturday. She finally understood when it was delivered to our table. Loved our lunch at Christine's Firehouse! Food was delicious & staff was great!!

Friendly service. Split the tenderloin and fries with someone, get an extra bun and veggies. It's just the right amount. It's the best quality and size for the price I know of at this time in Kansas City.

This site is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. Whenever I I need a special lunchon, this is the place that comes straightaway to my mind. extremely good and diverse food and a rich cuisine.generous staff, and nice ambience. Also important, the cost is modest. I suggest this restaurant with no doubt.

The food is fantastic. The tenderloin is delicious. It's also so big, I think it's based on a dare. 😁 The tenderloin isn't the only thing on the menu and other menu items are also fantastic. The wings are delicious with a buffalo sauce that is the perfect balance of spice and flavor. I highly recommend the beer battered fries. They are more of a thick cut chip but they are among the best in KC. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beer is COLD and they have a good selection.

A tenderloin the size of a small child and it tastes delicious! A favorite Thursday night hangout with the live jam session starting at 7. Great local musicians (sometimes hour next door neighbor will be up there) who enjoy sharing their love of music with Northtowne!

This is neighborhood bar food. The tenderloins were exceptional and HUGE! It is easily enough food for two people and could serve three or four. They have live music and the band playing was terrific. It was a middle aged crowd to older and not particularly rowdy. I would recommend both this place and the tenderloin! Bring friends if you want to finish it.

Outstanding food and service. The tenderloin is gigantic and super delicious. Philly cheese steak was good. Prices are very reasonable and portions are huge. I would've given 5 stars but parking is ridiculous and if you're in a wheelchair forget it.

My spouse looking to have a Tenderloin, which she grew up on when living in KC. We were not disappointed. This sandwich feed both of us with leftovers still. Highly recommended!!

I had a tenderloin that was the size of an elephant's ear.It tasted great. Was reasonably priced for the size.The horsey sauce was fresh and kickin'.The side order was pretty good.The tea was fresh. The Waitress was on point and had a nice butt. Ha!I'll definitely go back!!

The food was excellent, but the server left a lot to be desired. She forgot the fried mushrooms we'd ordered as an appetizer. When she brought our plates, we asked about the 'shrooms. She did bring some, after we were eating our meal. Also, she brought the wrong kind of fries. For whatever reason, she took our whole plate away to get the right fries. I wonder what happened with those fries!

Tenderloin were huge and the fries great. My daughter said her chicken sandwich was dry but hubby loved his tenderloin. The band was getting ready to start as we were leaving. Was crowded too.

Four of us had Saturday lunch at Christine's. The place was packed because of the KU basketball game. The employees help us find a table. Three of us order the pork tenderloin sandwich and beer. The sandwiches was huge, so good and the beer very cold. Also the service at this dive bar is outstanding. Great Saturday lunch!!

Super great me and a few friends went to hang out for Valentine's day, I ordered the philly steak and it was pretty good!! The service was great too!! Super nice and made sure we had everything!

I have to Rave about what a great time I had last Thursday! The Food the Service and the Musicians were out of this world. That Tenderloin was fantastic! It definitely has shock value and taste. Cannot wait to go back and enjoy Christine's Firehouse again. Will recommend to everyone I know....

This place is very busy. Not enough tables. It's really hard to accommodate the elderly on bar stools. So it might be better to take out if it's busy. Love the staff. Love the great food.

Not bad at all, we had a lot of fun looking at the decorations. Could go a little stronger on the seasoning. Portions are HUGE, this will be lunch for the next 3 day. My tip take a friend and split an meal. Great service at the bar and nice drinks!
